Grants for Different Types of Home Insulation

External Wall Grants
For External Wall Insulation, households may receive a grant covering up to 25% of the total cost, typically £7,000-£15,000. Wall Insulation is generally suited to homes with solid walls, but it can also be applied to properties with cavity walls that are not ideal for cavity wall insulation.

Internal Wall Grants
If someone in the home is receiving a qualifying benefit, the household may be eligible for free Internal Wall Insulation. This applies to properties with solid wall construction, and the home must be occupied by either an owner or renter.

Cavity Wall Grants
Households receiving eligible benefits can apply for a fully funded Cavity Wall Insulation Grant if the home is currently occupied and not undergoing renovations. This type of insulation is typically suitable for brick properties built between 1924 and 1982.

Solid Wall Grants
For External Wall Insulation, households may receive a grant covering up to 25% of the total cost, typically £7,000-£15,000. External Wall Insulation is generally suited to homes with solid walls, but it can also be applied to properties with cavity walls that are not ideal for cavity wall insulation.

Loft Installation
Both homeowners and renters may qualify for a full grant if they are receiving a qualifying benefit. To be eligible, the property must be occupied and have no more than 100mm (4 inches) of existing insulation, typically level with or below the joists. If additional insulation is needed, a free survey can be arranged to assess.

Roof-in-Roof Grants
Households on eligible benefits can receive free Room in Roof Insulation if the property has roof rooms or a loft conversion with minimal or no insulation in walls and ceilings. The property must also have a fixed staircase rather than a pull-down ladder and must be owner-occupied or rented.
Save Enegery & Cut Cost upto 65%
Uninsulated walls and roofs can lead to significant heat loss, which insulation can help reduce, leading to savings on energy bills:
